Introduction to the platform

POK Proof of Knowledge is the platform where your institution designs, issues, and tracks digital credentials. This article gives you a quick tour of the certifier dashboard so you know where everything lives: the sidebar menu, the Home summary, the Employability impact metrics, credential designs, branding, learning paths, issued awards, single issuance, and mass issuance.

How to navigate POK​

Go to the POK dashboard (mint.pok.tech) and sign in. If your account is in the United States region, use mint.us.pok.tech instead, and see Data regions for everything else that changes between the two. You land on the Home section of your dashboard.

The sidebar menu​

On the left side of the dashboard you will find the main sections:

  • Home: a summary of your institution's account and credential activity.
  • Transfer credits: distribute credits among your secondary organizations. This one only appears if yours is a main organization with secondary organizations linked to it, so most accounts will not see it. See Linked organizations.
  • Employability: see the real impact of your credentials on recipients' careers.
  • Designs: create and save certificate and badge designs.
  • Branding: customize what recipients see.
  • Paths: define the sequence and title of your micro-credentials.
  • Awards: review the certificates you have issued.
  • Issue: issue a certificate to a single recipient.
  • Mass Issuance: issue certificates to many recipients at once.
  • Help Center: articles about the platform's features.

The top bar​

Everything that configures your organization rather than a single credential lives behind your organization's name in the top bar:

  • Organization Settings: your organization's verifications, its preferences, and the accounts you connect to it, such as LinkedIn and Google Ads.
  • Team Members: invite people, assign them a role, and grant the signer permission. See Users and permissions.
  • Integrations: API keys for your own systems and LTI registrations for your LMS. See API keys and integrations.
  • Webhooks: the URLs POK calls when something happens to one of your credentials. See Webhooks.
  • Change Organization: switch to another organization your account belongs to.
  • Log Out.

From the top bar you can also copy your organization's wallet address and change the interface language.

Home​

The Home section shows a summary of the credentials you have sent, split between blockchain and basic credentials, along with the credits you have available for sending blockchain credentials. It also shows how far those credentials travelled, from sent to accepted to downloaded to shared on LinkedIn, your issuance trend over the period, your latest issuances, and how complete your organization's profile is.

Employability​

The Employability section shows the real impact your credentials have on recipients' careers. It tracks how many of your credentials were shared on LinkedIn and added to LinkedIn profiles, and it surfaces the job changes and promotions that happened after a credential was shared, along with the average time it took to see that impact. A filterable table lists each recipient's previous and new role and company, so you can measure the value your credentials create. Employability is available on specific plans.

Designs​

To create the certificate design you want to issue, open the Designs section. There you will find a quick-access New design button and a central panel called Certificate Designs with three tabs:

  • My Designs: the designs you have created.
  • Template Certificates: ready-made certificate templates.
  • Template Badges: ready-made badge templates.

Branding​

In the Branding section you can customize the look and feel of the emails sent when a credential is issued, as well as the credential page the recipient sees.

Paths​

You can issue micro-credentials as part of a learning path. Once a recipient earns all the micro-credentials in the path, they receive a final credential.

Awards​

To review the certificates you have already issued, go to the Awards section. From there you can use Load credentials to add a new issuance, and five tabs group your certificates by status: Accepted, Pending, Sent, Scheduled, and To Sign. Credential Awards covers what each tab holds and what you can do from it.

Issue​

When you are ready to issue POK certificates, open the Issue section. At the top you will see the same certificate counter as in Home. Below it, a step-by-step flow guides you through choosing the upload type, selecting a design, and loading the recipient and issuing institution details, among other settings. You can preview the certificate before sending, and when you are ready, press Issue.

Mass Issuance​

When you need to issue the same credential to many people at once, use the Mass Issuance section instead of issuing them one by one. You upload the full recipient list, usually from a spreadsheet, POK validates the data, and you review and send the whole batch in a single step. You can download a template for the recipient list, check any validation errors before sending, and track the progress of each batch as it is issued.
